Honestly not bad. 1 Half Court and the surface is in ok shape. The Lights Are Solid For Night Games. Parking is free which is a plus.

i play here a few times a month. outdoor park with 0 court. rims could be better but the vibes make up for it. the lights are solid for night games.

My goodness the field quality is horrible. grass is lumpy and uneven. Muddy even without any rain. Pockets of gnats that you will walk through and a few will get swallowed. Definitely not maintained by the city. But on the opposite side by the courts and the public library, the quality is better. Great park and picnic areas. Avoid the grass fields that are part of the school. if your soccer team is going to practice here, beg them to change or quit the team. I know other countries would consider this an amazing field because they play on rocks and there is not a single square of grass anywhere. But we don't live in the third world. we pay a premium to live and work and play in Irvine. Maybe the city can help maintain the field??
