come here on sundays usually. good group of regulars, runs go for hours. outdoor park with 1 court. bring water tho theres no fountain close.
Today July 16, 3023 There is a large group of Vietnamese Catholic Christians of Saint John The Baptist Church flock to Shiffer Park in Costa Mesa to take part in The Annual Picnic this summer. Father Andrew Tran and Mr Chinh, the president of the Vietnamese Community, show up first to set up the picnic area, later on, around 10:00AM to 11:00AM, people from all directions come in to fill up the park. While we are waiting for foods and drinks, we play volleyball, sing karaoke, and play games. At 11:30AM on the dot, Father Andrew get all people standing around food tables and he start saying his Prayer Before The Meal before we have our pristine lunch together at Shiffer Park. There are a lot of different types of foods for everyone to eat: Hamburger and Hot Dog for the kids, all adults people like to eat Traditional Vietnamese foods; I fill up my plate with Salads, Egg Role, Fried Chicken, and Watermelon.. I hang around with my friends until 2:00 PM, I left Shiffer Park going home to wa
